Was on h1b for 6 years , got laid off twice during that time unfortunately and was extremely stressful but I got a job both the times since market was much better back then . Luckily met the love of my life who also was born here, now got my GC and living with my husband and 2 kittens in a duplex apartment very peacefully :)
